Landscape in the Swiss canton of Sankt Gallen rises from the lowlands near Bodam Lake towards the mountain peaks, under which one can watch marmots, ibexes and chamois. The countryside is both rugged and picturesque. Forests pass into mountain meadows dotted with herds of cows. Even though cableway cabins hover above the valleys, the nature still looks as if it hasn’t lost its wildness and strength.
